Cross - training  is good for managers, because it provides more flexibility in managing the workforce to get the job done, and it is good for employees because it helps them learn new skills, increase their value to their firm and combat position fatigue.

UITS is upgrading the Woodall Hall with new and innovative technology. This helps to further University initiatives.

Game Day with Student Ambassadors Our Game Days are times where students can come to us for fun and food while learning about what UITS has to offer. We set up different games for the students to try and play with us, and we also provide snacks for them to enjoy as well. Come out and see us for the next one!

Relay For Life The CSU Relay for Life team hosted a fundraising event at the Clock Tower yesterday from 10AM - 3PM. Our UITS team helped set up and participate with the event, along with a few other members of the University. One of the main attractions was the "Dunk a Nerd" game with a full size dunk tank, as well as selling food and water to help raise money for Relay for Life.

The Regents Advisory Council for Registrar and Admission [RACRA] of USG met March 20th at the Middle State Georgia University in Macon, Ga. Lucy Harrison,The Assistant Vice Chancellor of Academic Library Services, recognized Columbus State University as developing the best course search tool  among the USG institutions. During this time she encouraged other institutions to integrate the aesthetically pleasing and interface friendly code for their respective student population.
